Rugged. Raw. Keweenaw.

The Ultimate Recreation Destination

Welcome to East Bluff Bike Park and Campground!

Ride, Camp, Explore – All in One Place

Sitting at the base of Copper Harbor’s East Bluff, you’ll find our 25-site primitive campground. Rustic but thoughtfully designed camper cabins and tent sites serve as the perfect starting point for all of your Keweenaw adventures. The entire campground is trailside and ideal for explorers of all kinds.

All Adventure. All Seasons.

Pedal the far-reaching and remote Keweeenaw Point trail or grab a shuttle pass for laps on the many downhill descents that rise up from the campground. Pick ripe red thimbleberries in the heat of summer or go for a XC-ski once the snow starts to fly. Check out East Bluff Bike Park and Campground today, and enjoy an authentic Keweenaw experience.

SHUTTLES

Our bike shuttle is as bold as our black diamond trails. You can’t miss our East Bluff green Stewart and Stevenson M-1078. Designed for war but retired to recreation, this machine crawls up the unimproved East Bluff Road 3 days per week during the summer months. Sling your bike onto our custom Velocirax equipped trailer, pile into the back of this open-air rig, and we’ll drop you 500+ vertical feet above for lap after lap of adrenaline dripping descents!

Note: The East Bluff bike park trails are open for all - if you prefer to reach the top the old fashioned way you are welcome to do so - no pass required!

CABINS

Our rustic camper cabins are nestled into the wooded East Bluff Valley. Crafted of weathering wood and tarnished steel, the exterior gives a nod to the Keweenaw’s industrial past, dominated by forestry and mining. The cozy but open interiors absorb natural light through an abundance of windows.

Screened sliders allow a cool breeze on summer evenings and Jotul wood stoves warm your soul after winter adventures. A carefully crafted sleeping area accommodates up to 6, with two queen mattresses on the floor level and two double mattresses lofted above.

Pops of color from the interior finishes and Loll Designs furniture add a bit of energy. Our cabins provide the basics - shelter, rest and a place to gather. Bring your own linens and cookware.

CAMPSITES

Each of our rustic campsites exude the East Bluff ambiance - private sites amongst the trees give you some seclusion when you want it, but the small campground footprint and surrounding trail network allow for an element of community.

Whether traveling with your friends or looking to meet new ones, you’ll find them just steps away. Our campsites range in size and can accommodate shelters ranging in size from the smallest tent to a moderately sized RV.

Check the site specifications before checking out to make sure the site you reserve will suit your needs! A modern privy and hand-pump well provide the basics for this primitive campground.
